Music That Changed My Life Compilation Record

I know a lot of you already know I’m a bit of a Jimmy Eat World fan and I’ve been in the process of re-recording their entire collection, but when I was approached by by pal at AMS Radio about a new compilation album where indie artists like myself cover a song with particular significance to our lives, I didn’t hesitate.

That song for me is Futures and I opted for a mellow acoustic cover of the rock hit.

Why Futures?

Futures is the first song I ever performed live when I was a teenager just a couple years after I first saw the band live on, you guessed it, the Futures tour where they co-headlined with Taking Back Sunday.

I shook the entire way through, but I did make it through.

I can sing it a little better now, so I feel like me and Futures have come a really long way together. This song and this band is forever ingrained in my personal rock history and I wouldn’t have it any other way, they make great company for the ride.

I’m really excited to be featured on this compilation alongside so many other great indie’s like Scoopski, Marc Schuster, Prime Birds and of course Quizboy.

It’s out this Friday and you can pre-save it on your preferred streamers here. Go on now and click it, don’t be shy.

Here’s a sneak peek at my cover on my Instagram page:

As always, thanks very much for listening & I hope you enjoy it!
