City Lights (Radio Edit)

Hi! I’m not sure if you’re following me over on Bandcamp yet, but if you’re not you might’ve missed the abrupt memo a few days ago where I released a new original song. Sorry, I really should have put that over here first!

City Lights comes from my upcoming EP Homeless Youth. While the EP version is a little longer than this one, there doesn’t seem to be a more appropriate time to release this condensed cut with Valentine’s Day right around the corner.

A nod to the historic bookstore and publishing company in San Francisco, City Lights in its simplest terms is about unrequited love.

Proceeds from the Homeless Youth album (including this cut) will be donated to Toronto-based Youth Without Shelter, an organization that helps provide housing for displaced youth. If you’re able to purchase the track, I very much appreciate your support with this project.

Homeless Youth will be out before you know it, I’ve just about finished the album artwork on it and I’ve just been replaying the new masters to make sure we’re in good shape for release day.

Hope you enjoy this short cut.

Acoustic Livestream Tomorrow at 7PM EST.

Oh! And did I mention I’ll be doing a special early Valentine’s Day livestream tomorrow on my YouTube channel? I’ve actually never livestreamed direct to YouTube before because I was using Twitch (and low key, I thought I had to have more subscribers to do it, but I was mistaken!), but if you’re familiar with my Twitch streams you’ll more or less know what you’re in for. I’ll be singing original songs about loss and a lack thereof so no matter how heavy or full your heart is feeling right now, there’ll be something in there for ya.

Put it on your radar here and please subscribe to my channel if that’s a thing you do! I know it’s about due for an overhaul so I’ll be cleaning it up nicely and adding more videos this year.

Catch ya soon,

NCDilly
