Neither Could Dylan

On Saturday May 4th I made my way down to Free Times Cafe for another one of Dr. B’s Open Mic events at Free Times Cafe. You might recall that last time I was there I had the esteemed pleasure of being joined by Brain Morgan, Lynda Kraar and Jaime Valentine who hopped in on Girls Like Me to create a very cool folk-country rendition of that song.

This time, I opted to play State Lines since after the mic I was heading to Scotiabank Arena for the Death Cab for Cutie/The Postal Service 20th anniversary show and I’m very excited to be able to say that the crew was down to jump in on this one, too.

I love what they bring to these songs and I hope we can continue to explore them in this way in the future. If you missed it, I recorded the performance and you can grab it on YouTube.
